Advanced Automotive Diagnostics-NOT CLOSED

I've been going here for over a decade. I've recommended this shop to plenty of friends and family. Bottom line is, if you want quality work with as close to backyard mechanic prices as you can, Ed is the Man. Ed and Advance Automotive Diagnostics is the reason I will never use a backyard mechanic again. Quality work, reasonable prices, great communication. Ed treats you like family and remembers who you are even if it's been a while.

AAD is NOT CLOSED. They have never been closed. I've been taking my vehicles there for well over 20 years. Excellent service. Outstanding prices. The owner, Ed, will not upsell you, or fix something unless it needs fixed. He is a Master Mechanic, a title less than 10% of mechanics earn. He knows his stuff.

Went back to advanced automotive diagnostics again today. December 19th 2025, my wife's car over heated and had it taken to Ed and the guys. Once again he went above and beyond to fix the problem, even stayed over 2 hours past closing time to make sure she had her car the same day. I am so greatful to them. I highly recommend them to everyone reading this.

I had the head gasket replaced, picked my car up and noticed a big oil leak. Took it back and was charged labor and parts for a valve cover and turbo hose. I found out later after speaking with another mechanic that they shouldn't have put the old cover back on in and should have been done at the same time. I also shouldn't have had to pay for labor since there were already under the hood. They dropped the ball putting the old one back on. after picking my car up for the 2nd time, once again another problem. Now there is another problem with the engine. There was a spraying noise from under the hood. Looked under the car and There was a big puddle that looked like coolant. We looked for the problem and found a hose with electric tape (Wrong tape for a engine) that was rapped around a sp
