Advanced Diagnostic Car Services

Alex saved the day! I was driving my Ford Transit Connect on a roadtrip to Acadia and it started making crazy noises. He got me in quickly and diagnosed the problems. He was very professional and knowledgeable. After a couple hours and some good conversations, my van was back on the road! I made it back to Florida safely with no issues. Thank you Alex for getting my van fixed! I’d definitely recommend this place.

Alex at Advanced Diagnostics was absolutely amazing!!!!!! We are from Michigan and drove15 hours to Portland Maine and about halfway in our trip we started hearing a wheel bearing that was going out. We spent about an hour at a dealership trying to get an estimate on a price and called several other dealerships around the area. None could guarantee it being fixed in a day or 2. We planned a 7 or 8 day trip, altogether, so time was of the essence!!We were traveling to see Acadia National Park ME, New Hampshire, Vermont, and NY, including a lot of mountain driving. Alex was able to diagnose our car within a half an hour and fix it within an hour and half. He was very professional and helpful recommending restaurants in nearby locations that we could go to while our vehicle was being fixed. M

I was traveling from Missouri to Maine when a CV axle on my truck failed. I called and spoke with Alex, and he was able to get me in quickly and take care of the repair. He replaced the axle efficiently and did excellent work. I would absolutely recommend him. Since I travel to Maine every year, I’ll definitely return if I ever need work done on future trips. Thank you, Alex!

This is so long overdue, Back in November 2024 my family and I Broke down in Amherst, Maine. It was a Saturday around 1pm, I knew it was the alternator since the car was losing battery and all the signs related to such. We made it to gas station before the car shut down and called AAA. They wouldn't pick us up because we had two kids in the car and no tow truck is equipped to put car seats in so we started calling auto body shops in Bangor. Most of the shops wanted us to have the car towed there and they could work on it on Monday since they weren't open on Sunday and wanted to diagnose the car first. We called Advanced Diagnostic Car Services next and explained the situation. They were so amazing from start to finish, I told them what model and year my car was and he drove to Bangor to go

Alex did a fabulous job overhauling a 1995 vehicle for our teenage son's first vehicle. Alex made sure the car was safe, reliable and everything was working as it should before allowing us to take the vehicle home. He's knowledgeable, friendly and will offer less expensive repair options when they are available and meet all safety requirements. He's our go-to mechanic now!
