If your car starts to have trouble on your drive to Acadia this is the place to go! We pulled in without an appointment, with three fussy kids, and they were able to fit in a quick diagnostic and sent us to a specialized service center in Bangor right away. The specialized center confirmed the issue and fixed it the same day. We were so grateful! Thank you for helping us out on vacation!

Run, don't walk away from this place! They won't let customers supply their own parts, and they told me it would be $850 for the part that I already have and paid $115 for from the manufacturer. Jerks!

Coastal Car Care is competent, friendly, and an honest place to do business with. They corrected my air conditioner problem quickly and for a reasonable price.

Wish I could give zero stars. Waste of time and money. After charging me $115 for a simple diagnosis of a failed A/C compressor, they proceeded to tell me that in order for the warranty to be valid on a new compressor, they would also have to replace the condenser and a bunch of other parts which were not broken, all for a total of over $1900. I never heard of such a requirement for a "warranty". I asked them for other choices, such as replacing the compressor only and forget the warranty, or install a second-hand compressor. I also asked if the $115 diagnostic charge would be applied as a credit on the final bill. I don't think that was well received. The attendant said she would have to ask the mechanic and get back to me. She never called me back. I guess they figured I was not

I had a great experience at Coastal Car Care. They took care of some problems I was having as well as periodic maintenance. I'll be going back for my future service needs. I highly recommend Coastal Car Care.
