Alamo Rent A Car

Renting with Alamo made our Maui trip possible in the way we wanted to do it: flexible, weather-adaptive, and able to knock out big driving days. Pickup and return at the consolidated facility were straightforward, and having a standard sedan for the week worked well for beaches, scenic stops, and long drives. Great price, easy to find. The line moved quickly. Our representative was easy to understand and knowledgeable when it came to the insurance coverage I already had with my credit card. No hassle was nice after a long flight. There was a great selection available although I used the one I already picked online. Great signage and instructions on how to pickup and drop-off were a dream. The best part is I loved that I could choose when I needed to pickup and drop-off the vehicle! It made all the difference. Alamo rocks and I will use them again without hesitation! The Gmc Terrain had a very user friendly cellphone interface that made GPS and music seamless and safe by being hands free. The hours for pickup and dropoff made it perfect. Thank you.

My third time with Alamo and as expected everything went smooth. Used the skip the line option so it took less than 5 minutes tonget the car and be on our way. Car was brand new, less than 2 months old and some 3000 miles.

I booked via Hotwire and ended up with Alamo. ATMOSPHERE: They used to be in a large free-standing building prior to moving to the structure. SERVICE: Everyone was super friendly, professional, and service-oriented, from the desk agent to all the the lot agents. Great management! VEHICLE: I paid for a full size car and was offered a choice of staying in that category or choosing a mid size SUV. I ended up with a Jeep Compass. The vehicle was about 3,000 miles old, was in great shape, and the gas tank was full. No problems with the vehicle. OVERALL: Awesome service and a nice facility. I can imagine how nice their new digs will be when they all move to the centralized rental garage which is in the works.

I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at the Alamo Maui airport location, specifically from a manager named Daniel. What should have been a smooth start to our vacation was completely soured by his unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness. We had a few straightforward questions regarding our rental, and instead of providing helpful answers, Daniel treated us with utter contempt. At one point, he even tossed out a "you're welcome" in the most condescending, sarcastic tone imaginable. It was clear he had no interest in actually helping us. To make matters worse, we were hit with a hidden charge for an extra two hours because we accessed our car early—something that was never disclosed to us beforehand.
