Alamo Rent A Car

Very nice experience. Quickly got my car had to wait just a wee bit while they finished up. Had a question on the seat adjustment and was answered quickly and professionally. Check in was a breeze. Would of been nice to drop off my bags closer to the transfer van but they just kept waving me up. Overall would rent from them again. Pictures are the only faults I founf found with it.

My Hyundai Tucson was smooth to drive, comfy to sit in, and the air conditioning worked great! The check-in at about 8 pm was easy and they were super nice. When we returned, the adorable lady who checked us in was polite and friendly. We will definitely use Alamo again. The shuttle bus was a good size and the drivers were excellent at driving. Make sure to ask them to lift your heavier suitcases into the shuttle because they will if you ask. Here’s a picture of a sunset in Kona—you definitely need to go! Use Alamo.

Best rental car service I have had in a long time! After a very long day of delayed travel, we were immediately picked up by the shuttle bus. Upon arrival we were very warmly greeted outside and when walking in were the only customers. Quick at the counter and out to pick out our car, they gave us 6 to choose from. Out the gate very quickly and a very nice gal who wished us on our way. Thank you for great customer service, best we had all day!

Had a good experience renting from Alamo in Kona. The process was smooth, there were short lines, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The return was easy and there were no surprise or fraudulent charges after drop-off, which gave me peace of mind. The only reason I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars is that the final price ended up being slightly higher than the online quote (though not by much). Overall, a reliable and straightforward experience.

Horrible experience overall. I booked my car months before and when I get here, no cars are available. I don’t blame the employees but why would Alamo give out more cars than they have. Unacceptable. The wait was around 2 hours and that sucks after 2 long flight. Go to any other car rental except for Alamo. Ruined a day of my vacation.
