Alamo Rent A Car

When I went to pick up the car, I had reserved an economy/standard vehicle, but they gave me a seven-passenger van instead. They told me there were no other cars available and that this was the only one they had. Since it was a rental for traveling from one city to another—about a three-hour trip—it used much more gas than I had planned for. I find it very unfair that, even though I booked an economy car in advance, in the end I was practically forced—and really had no other option—to take a larger vehicle that consumed more fuel.

I was greeted by a very respectful gentleman who assured me that I would be driving one of the best cars.I was very impressed with his attitude and the fact that he explained some of the feactures in the car.Alamo is the best!

Eugene was amazing! His customer service was far beyond his years of experience. He was knowledgable, assertive, and very kind. I always dread renting cars, however , he made our experience simple and seamless. Keep him! Thanks again!

Alamo was excellent! After a long travel day (and night) they were ready for us with our reservation. Gave us a complimentary upgrade and didn’t bother us about purchasing extra insurance. Customer service was superb. Loved how it was quick, easy and enjoyable. Also, the car was spotless CLEAN on the inside (and outside) and didn’t have any strong smell from cleaners/odors. Thank you so much, Alamo team!!!

Do not recommend . Flight was delayed , was contacted by the service desk about reservation . Let them know that we would be in after 10 pm . They acknowledged that and confirmed somebody would be available so that we can get our rental . They were not there !!! We were left stranded without a car and complete disregard from company about us and others at the desk with us who also were not able to get their rental car reservations . Do better .
