What an awesome shop! The other 5 star reviews speak for themselves. Professional, friendly, and honest. I got an estimate over the phone, scheduled time for the work to be done, and when it turned out the part cost less than anticipated they gave me the better rate! I doubt most shops would do that for their customers.

Craig was honest with me about what my vehicle needed and not try to push unnecessary repairs or anything on my Ford escape. The mechanics worked fast and I had the car back on the road in a single day, when other shops had told me that the work would take a week or two. I had a positive experience with them and will be going back the next time my vehicle needs attention. I have heard great recommendations, and I have found them to ring true. I recommend that you take your vehicle for repairs, inspections, and most other issues to Amherst Auto Works.

Excellent work for great prices. They also respect your budget. I have never been pressured or incentivized to get unnecessary work. If Craig (the owner) doesn't think a problem is immediate, he will warn you without the pressure of getting it done ASAP. The only downside is long wait times. Since they service local police and fire department vehicles, appointments could be 3-14 days out. But this is only because of their popularity. If you want quality repairs then go to Amherst Autoworks.

Our headlights were so dim, I couldn't drive at night. Samantha explained everything to me about how they fix them with a special kit. They also fixed my heatsheild, it was rattling awful. Now we can go out at night, and see everything so clearly!! Thank you AAW, we found our new mechanics, you're the best!! Sandy and Wayne Ayer
