I went to buy oil for my car. One person was waiting on the line The other person was basically doing nothing behind the counter. I went to ask him his opinion of the different 3 oils I had pulled up on my phone. I showed this to him and asked him which one was the best. He gave e me an annoyed look. Then took a very quick look & picked the first one (Mobil) and said that it is the best. I asked why this one is better than others. His reply was "Well you asked my opinion didn't you"? Very rudely. I said yes I just like to know why you think it's best. He ignored me. I walked out. Not going there again

Having purchased an Innova SDS50-Tech from Hilo, Hawaii with Military Discount (10% Off, Thankfully) which worked for Basic OBDCII Analysis, but further/OEM-specific Diagnostics from the Work Shop - yielded All attempted from the Work Shop stated my vehicle (a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.6L V6) is not supported; so I 'upgraded' to the More Expensive Pro Model 7111 at the Kona, Hawaii AutoZone - for the tending Associate Jason to subsequently inform me: 1) I was NOT entitled to Military Discount without ID (even though I was wearing my US Marine Corps shirt, and though I'm in their database as purchased MULTIPLE Parts with Military Discount from Hilo, Hawaii; further, the Associate Jason walked back to the rack behind the Counter, ripped off the Non-Military Discount Tag plainly advertising

Always a knowledgeable experience with the staff at Kona's autozone! One of my wipers was not working, so I figured it was the motor had gone south, but good ol Michelle was quick to offer a few tips to check! So, barely a cup of coffee into the day...so simple duh! Loose bolt! Thx Michelle, til next time ( its a 2015 truck, there will be a next time ) Mahalo.

I went in to get new wiper blades for my Jeep. Wrangler and Nera went above and beyond helping me pick the right blades and put them on my vehicle. It turns out the rear windshield wiper listed in the catalogue was not compatible with my vehicle, but she knew exactly what to do because she’d helped another customer that had the same car and the same problem. She went back in the store found the part that worked and installed it. We had to mess around with switching out the fitting, but she got it done. What a delightful experience.

Pretty displeased that the young kid with lighter color hair (working mid afternoon Dec 14) who told me if I couldn't find a container to put my used motor oil, that I could dump it on the ground, like "dinosaurs." Terrible advice for anywhere, but we are on a lava island and so much of the pollutants here can end up in our ocean. I give 1 star to him for his poor logic and bad advice, but I give 5 stars for the manager and the other guys working who were truly helpful and caring.
