AutoZone Auto Parts

Autozone almost always has the obscure parts in stock for my 19 year old truck. Not just in stock online, but in stock at the store and ready for pick up. This coupled with the fact that they’re open until 9:00pm often makes them my default choice for parts. I can’t count the number of times I was fixing something and then something else broke in the process and I had to run to Autozone to get it at 8:45pm so I could have my truck the next day. They also have the loaner tool program that allows you to avoid the “I don’t wanta buy the right tool for just this one time” scenario. I’ve done enough repairs to know that the right tool will save you a lot of suffering, but I prolly still wouldn’t get it if I wasn’t able to loan it for free from Autozone. I've been into the store a few times over the past month and each time I have felt like the team was attentive and supportive. This past weekend my car wouldn't start and I had to get a tow company to jump it, they said it was likely the battery. I went straight to Autozone and the guys immediately started figuring things out. Nathan went out and tested the battery, confirming it needed replacement. He checked with Johnny to be sure they could replace it for me. Johnny confirmed and rang me up while Nathan went out to remove my old battery. Wayne was also there and had remembered me from my last visit that he had helped me with and checked in to see how my car was doing. After paying, I joined Nathan outside to watch how the battery was installed because I enjoy learning new thing

I went to AutoZone to replace my dead car battery, but my experience was frustrating and unprofessional. It took a while for someone to even acknowledge me, but once I finally got assistance, the employee grabbed a battery off the shelf for me. He then went to take a look at my car to see if he could help with the replacement. However, he came back saying he couldn’t replace the battery because there was some issue with the fuse box next to it. Honestly, I couldn't fully hear what he said, but it didn't make any sense. He told me I would have to take it to a shop. Rather than trust his vague explanation, I grabbed a crescent wrench, a socket, and a ratchet, and replaced the battery myself—at 10:00 PM, in freezing cold weather—with no issues with the fuse box.
