Avis Car Rental

Saeed saved us, our trip is on. We picked up a Toyota Tacoma from Longmont Colorado at the 1st and main Street LM3 site. They screwed up big time! It took her an hour and a half to find the truck on the lot. It was filthy, and we got pulled over because the trucks tags were expired. We picked up another vehicle in Rocklin, California. Avis helped us out beautifully, thank you Saeed!

I do not recommend renting from this company. I was charged twice for the same transaction, which resulted in my bank account being overdrawn by nearly $700. This situation has caused significant financial stress and has not yet been resolved.

Do not depend on this place for a rental car. They will gladly take your money and say they have a reservation but will not have a car when you show up. The young lady behind the counter made it seem like this is a very common occurrence. She refused to help at all. She would not call another Avis to check their availability. She would not let me speak to a manger. This business is basically a scam.

When I arrived to pick up my rental, the representative who initially assisted me had a poor attitude and was dismissive. I asked to speak to someone else and was directed to the manager. While she provided some instructions, she refused to offer further assistance, stating, “We’re not trained to do that.” Instead, she gave me a phone number to call, which I ultimately did not use because I resolved the matter myself. After completing the process, I signed the rental agreement and left with the vehicle. I then noticed a $52 charge on my paperwork. When I called to inquire, I was told it was for insurance. I explained that I have my own coverage, but I was told I was still required to pay it. However, when I contacted Avis’ main 888 customer service number, I was informed that if I have my
