Baker Automotive Rentals

We had a problem with Economy Rental the day we arrived in Charleston. It was December 26, and none of the major rental car companies had any cars available. Fortunately, we found Baker Automotive right next to the Hilton Homewood Suites where we were staying. They followed up quickly and rented us an amazing Infiniti Q50 at a fair market rate. The car was great, and the overall experience was far better than anything we’ve had with a national rental service. Highly recommend!

Anthony and Kirsten were amazing to work with! We were stranded on I95 and couldn’t find an uber or rental car anywhere around. I’m an Enterprise Plus member and after hours of conversations with every location close to us, there were no available rentals. Kirsten came and picked us up and brought us to the Mercedes Benz- Baker Automotive Rentals. We were leaving in a rental car within a few minutes. This was the most wonderful customer service we have ever received! I highly recommend Baker Automotive Rentals! Call and ask for Anthony & your worries will be over!

Recently I rented an LSV from Baker Automotive Company and want to express my thanks for the exceptional service I recently experienced. It is not often that one encounters such a high level of friendly, courteous, professionalism. From the first encounter I had with Bryce and later his team Mark and Jona and visiting your dealership, the experience was nothing short of excellent customer service. Where quality service can sometimes feel like a rare commodity, their efforts stand out remarkably. Please provide my thanks to others and thank you again for helping me have transportation available to enjoy my vacation.

Disappointing experience at the South Carolina Wilmington Airport . What should have been a simple and routine car rental quickly became frustrating and needlessly complicated due to the conduct of the little guy managing the process. His approach came across as the classic case of overcompensating authority, which turned an easy task into an unpleasant ordeal. While the women on staff were courteous and helpful, the overall experience was overshadowed by his behavior. I get it a black guy like me with authority and resources can be challenging and intimidating, It’s clear why this location still had cars available. I would not recommend doing business here.
