Barnes Wrecker - Cars & Heavy Duty Semi Truck Towing

Update: Unfortunately I have to knock off 3 stars from my original review! While I’m still very happy with my service, I discovered through my insurance that this company willingly went against their contract and doubled charged for their towing services. Both my insurance and I got a bill and sent payment for the same service. Now I have to go through a reimbursement process because I didn’t actually have to pay. My insurance company is not happy about this and neither am I! Got my grooming van out of the ice and back on the road! I went a little too far down an icy neighborhood and got stuck. Bill arrived on time and was ready to help! He gave clear instructions that made this stressful situation a lot easier to handle. He got my van out safely and I was back on my merry way! Lesson lea

The operator on the phone was very cheerful and helpful. Assisted me with clear instructions. The driver came right away after the payment. I only waited maybe 20min. He was so kind and friendly. Even gave me some advice on how to clean my battery. When life happens and a gal is in need, a friendly tone and quick assistance can make the world of difference. I really appreciate them so much!

Barnes Towing saved the day. Great job. AAA came out and told me they couldn’t help. AAA said I would have to wait until my driveway thawed which will be over a week.

Not from chapel hill. Drove 2 hours for my disabled daughter’s appointment. We got a flat and had not spare because it doesn’t come with the vehicle I have. Barnes Towing went above and beyond to help me find the nearest tire location. Made sure my daughter and I got transportation to the tire shop. I hate I can’t remember the young lady that helped me. I believe it was Olivia. But she was the calm in my storm today and for that we thank you so much. God bless you.

So this was definitely the best towing/jump start experience of my life. Of course, I was in hotel parking lot 1000+ miles from home when my car completely failed to start. Triple A (I’m a member with 100 mile plus towing had already come - failed to jumpstart my 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van and gave me the incorrect information that my alternator had died) …. I rented a car and was at the Mercedes dealership when I saw the Barnes towing truck in their lot - I walked up and spoke to BIll who was driving it - he said perhaps he could jump it but he could for sure either jump it or get it dealship within the next hour. He started the van first try and then followed me back all the way to the dealership to make sure I got there safely. He solved in 5 minutes what had already taken 5 hours. Ho
