Not impressed as my mother in law was supposed to be transferred to Bethany Home for rehab from Marshfield Hospital for broken ribs. Wow….. did we get the run around and then they gave away her room. How terrible accepting a patient, you accepted her and then canceling transport when they were 1/2 way to Marshfield to pick her up. We ended up getting our own private transport, had my mom in law in the van and a few blocks away from the hospital we had to turn around as they said they would not accept her. Marshfield Hospital gave you everything you kept requesting. After hearing some good things about this facility, I can say from personal experience, I would NOT recommend this facility. My grandfather was placed at this facility a couple of months ago. I have visited him a couple of times. The first time I went to visit, I was able to walk right in without signing in or any security. Anyone could walk in and do something horrible to a resident there. As I was visiting my grandpa, he stated that he was never taken to do any activities. The staff had him sitting in his room in his recliner all day until bedtime. He was very bored and didn’t understand why he wasn’t able to interact with the other residents or join any of the facilities activities. The second time I went to visit him was last night. The care at Bethany is wonderful, food service, not so much. My mother was in a low residue diet and she kept getting fresh fruits and nuts.

My wife has been there since April. She has dementia and suffered a mini stroke as well. Spent two months in skilled nursing and was recently transferred to CBRF. I have been totally impressed by the professional and caring staff. From housekeeping to administration, and everyone in-between, we have been treated with respect and genuine concern. Working with the elderly takes a special kind of person and many of them are angel's among us.

I am so disappointed with Bethany, espessially today. I tried calling Bethany five times total to remind them that I have an appointment with my grandfather for our Facebook Video chat at 11:00. The front desk picked up twice to direct me to some person that said they would check on my grandfather for me. It is an hour later, and STILL I have not received a call back from anyone regarding my grandfather, nor our appointment today that I made last week. They are not consistent with their phones, nor are they consistent with their residents and the resident's families. 1/5 stars is how I would rate my experiences thus far with Bethany.
