BMW Service Department

Going to BMW Service Department at BMW Southpoint has never been more pleasant. I recently visited about a week ago to have my F90 M5 diagnosed due to the engine coolant warning. The technician at the reception area is super nice and he helped topped off the coolant very quickly FOR FREE!! And I came back the next day to have the car thoroughly inspected, and thankfully no issues were found. For the past 10 years with 3 BMWs that I ever owned, visiting the service center is always a fun experience. You are generally greeted by very nice and knowledgeable technician and the lounge is spacious and quiet, sometimes you just want to enjoy the moment in there while waiting for the maintenance to complete

Update: I contacted Summer per their response to my initial review. First, what a nice, pleasant person to talk to... She reviewed the recorded call when I made my appt and verified that I was told that my services would be covered by the 3yr/36K maintenance plan that comes with new BMWs; as a result of hearing that, she took on 2 actions... firstly, she's working with their corporate team to identify what can be done to ensure errors that I experienced do not happen again, and secondly, she offered to have those 2 services done by their service dept at no charge as was originally told to me. Brought my car in for an overpriced tire change and alignment. They turned me away stating they won't change tires I didn't purchase from them even though I had the appointment for over a week and the appointment notes entered by their service advisor state I would be bringing already purchased tires. They stated their reasons are they only install BMW Star tires (my tires are BMW star) and that Tire Rack offloads old inventory (manufacture date is printed on the tire, they're brand new). Then they mumbled about "liability" about changing tires. Obviously all BS nonsense.

Service team has failed the same issue twice in a row. Leaking happening on Driver’s side a year ago. Thought it’s fixed. Happened again. Charged me 3000 to get my car out. One day later, saw the same issue in my car.

Jessica in service always leaves much to be desired! She doesn’t even try! She is careless and unprofessional! I had an urgent situation and she didn’t offer any immediate alternatives to help and told me to call other BMW’s. What a waste of my time coming into my dealership thinking I would be valued as a valued customer! My experience with this dealership is always the worst experience and that’s very disappointing seeing as though I expect so much more from BMW and my home dealership at that. I also feel some diversity would be beneficial in this front desk service office! When people pull in, you used to come out to the cars and greet your customers with a smile.
