Here’s a story about an amazing employee you guys have. Had a five day ski trip in Boyne and we were leaving Saturday morning. Got about 8 minutes into our trip when the van was pulling hard to the left and not exactly wanting to speed up. Pulled into the boat shop across the road and got out. Instantly started worrying about who would be open on the weekend, tow truck fees, hotel fees, basically disaster was all I could think about. Then a man in snap-on jacket and blue Chevy pulled up next to us. He hopped out introduced himself as Scott and asked if we needed help. Needed an alignment done on one of my vehicles. Called up, and they got me in asap! Had my vehicle aligned the day before at another shop and that shop was not able to dial it in for me. Joe and his crew were able to dial it in for me, and it is 100% better! Joe took the time to talk to me as well as his crew. They were very welcoming and did a great job for me! If you're Lucky you'll have car trouble... near Boyne Falls or Boyne City. I was blown away at the service and knowledge of the fine staff at Boyne City Tire and Brake. Honest diagnosis, friendly fast service at very a reasonable price. I bought an aftermarket hitch for my 03 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. No matter how much I tightened the bolts it sagged down and I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to make it all the way up to Vanderbilt Boyne Falls area towing my sleds. I had a weird ask. I was hired as a rural postal carrier and needed right side pedals installed…in 2 days. Not your normal “brake job.” They did it! The mechanic took me out and showed me the modifications made to the gas pedal for correct installation. This is something I might have tried myself, but chose to play it safe. I’m glad I did.
