Budget Car Rental

I do not usually give reviews but as social media has become an every day thing in our lives I thought I needed to on this! Awaz Askari and his wife could not have helped me any better. She was pleasant while explaining all the information to me. With all the extra rental service fees that sometimes arise she kept it as simple and fair as she could. I also noticed she did the same to customers before and after me! I even had issues with my last day in Chester with changing work related meetings, she listened and came out with a perfect solution to making sure I made it to airport. Oh yes and my vehicle was sharp, clean, and performed fabulous! Thanks again you two!

I made a reservation online on budget.com which not only says it accepted debit cards but also charged my account the rental amount. When I showed up about half an hour before closing (the earliest I could arrive and an allowable time on the site) I got all the way through the process (card in machine to also pay the deposit) when the clerk told me I HAD to use a credit card because they perform a CREDIT CHECK for every transaction! A credit check is mentioned nowhere on the site. She tried to tell me I had to remove my current credit lock (due to identity theft but FYI everyone should keep their credit locked, don't be in my situation!) so they could check it. She knew my credit was locked because she tried to run the credit check without informing me or asking permission! Budget Cor

We rented a truck for work on 07.21.25 at 2:45pm by a nice lady. She said to bring it at on 07.25.25 before 5:00pm. On 7.25.25 we return the truck at the truck at 4:00pm. The man working there was rude and charged us for another day. Dabney Properties

The website let's you book and pay, and everything looks confirmed and good to go. Then the day of, they give you a call saying they don't have a car for you (even if their lot is full) and you're on your own. Completely unprofessional.

Honestly not a great experience. Truck was broken in several ways (including a broken AC). Trailer was broken & I had to show the owner how to unwind the trailer tie-downs. They seemed "frazzled" and checking out took 2 times longer than it should have because their computer systems are outdated and couldn't cope with certain credit card expiration dates (valid dates). They were also kinda abrasive towards people in the lobby. Won't be going back.
