Camping World - Oakwood

I will start this review with some good before explaining the bad. The service advisor, Leah, was communicative throughout the process, and the team repaired flooring damage related to the recliners something we were not expecting and did appreciate. Unfortunately, we picked up our camper in worse condition than when we dropped it off. After a 15.5-hour drive to another state, we discovered the refrigerator had partially fallen out of its enclosure due to missing screws, which could have ruined the fridge and kitchen island if not more. Those screws were later found placed together in a kitchen drawer, despite staff initially insisting there was “no reason” they would have been removed. We also discovered that the locking mechanism on the egress window was missing, leaving a required safe

We were blown away by how kind and professional Andrew Greenewald was to us! If you go here ask for him to be your salesman. He was not pushy and was very helpful helping us pick out our first camper. It was a very pleasant experience and everyone was nice.

Took a few minutes for the salesperson to warm up to us but the more we talked and looked at the campers available he was more talkative and pleasant. Was nice enough to offer a hold on one we liked until our money came in. Will recommend this location and the salesperson to others. Gwen had a great attitude. Her attitude needs to be presented to all who walk in your doors.

Bought a camper from Devin and he was OUTSTANDING! Helped me better than any salesman every has in any purchase I have ever made. Very polite and knowledgeable! 10 star service. Will definitely be using yall for all our camping needs. Everyone was so nice and helpful ♥️ The Service Guy Russell went above expectations on helping us get everything together!

Unfortunately the truth must be told!! We had an unfortunate accident and a kayak went through the front of our camper. We took it to Oakwood Ga. Camper World and we made an insurance claim. They repaired the whole. Less than a year later and minimal camper use the whole broke open again. We returned and they fixed it for the 2nd time only to have it happen again so we took the camper back for the 3rd fix on the same whole. After keeping our camper form May to Sept. We picked it up today. Only to see they had not matched the repair with the rest of the camper. When we asked them to make it right they refused to coat the front exterior to match. Now we are left with a camper that looks like this! If they had told us it couldn’t be fixed properly we would have had insurance total the camper
