I recently purchased a 1999 Land Cruiser Prado from Car City Inc. and had a very positive experience. Back in fall of 2025 I was in the market for an imported Land Cruiser Prado and was interested in purchasing one from an out of state dealership, however before I could make my decision I wanted to test drive one first. I knew Car City Inc had a Prado in their inventory and they were very close by so I called and asked if I could take it for a test drive and they said absolutely. I met with one of the salesmen Will and I let him know that I wanted to test drive their Prado but I was not interested in buying it as I had my eyes on a different one. 10/10 experience from start to finish. been working with will, jesus and fabian for months on getting a car. was originally gonna get the ‘13 STI they had. i ended up purchasing a 1-owner, cali owned, 33k mile CLEAN ‘17 Civic Si from them. saw the car via carfax, called fabian and told him i’m coming to get it, all in 1 hour before close lol. gave me a great deal, helped me out to squeeze the car into my budget and stayed after hours to get it done. will purchase from them again. appreciate you guys. 🥂

I purchased a vehicle from Car City on November 22nd. The buying process itself was smooth, and the drive home to Wisconsin (just outside Milwaukee) went fine. Unfortunately, the issues began less than 12 hours after purchase. The following morning, while driving in normal traffic, I suddenly lost acceleration. It turned out the left axle shaft had completely shattered. Prior to purchasing, the car was on a lift and I noticed a newer boot on that axle. I was told work had been done on it, and at the time everything seemed fine. Because of the failure, I was stranded on the side of the highway for approximately 7 hours before I could get a tow truck.
