I had an incredible experience at this O'Reilly location while looking for headlight bulbs for my 2010 Honda Civic. The store was quite busy, so I offered to let the clerk, Andy, help another customer and Alex (from Car Fix Libertyville) first. To my surprise, as a return of kindness, Andy introduced me to Alex and asked if he could help with my notoriously difficult low beam bulbs. Alex’s car was already running and he was ready to leave, but he insisted on helping me right then and there. Alex is a true master of his craft. He knew the exact trick—turning the steering wheel to access the bulbs through the wheel well—and replaced BOTH low beam bulbs in literally just a few minutes without even turning off his engine! Big shout out to the team at carfax libertyville (Nate Ron and Alex) who worked on my 2018 Nissan gtr. Although I came in for an affordable oil change the tech (Alex) showed an immense knowledge of working on performance cars and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. I will not hesitate coming back. If you are looking for a professional shop that ISN’T looking to sell every possible service under the sun that you don’t need, look no further.

I was able to get my brakes taken care of the next day. Car fix has a one of a kind customer service skill. I’ve been to many car repair shops, I’ve never had a shop that tried to get you the lowest cost possible, one who understands times are tough. I can’t say how much I appreciate the care they show.
