Car Tech of Lafayette

My son brought his 2001 dodge Dakota in for an estimate, and my 2003 Ford Taurus. Both vehicles were experiencing no heat issues. A half hour later, Mike calls and says he fixed my sons truck and he owes $180 for a heat switch My car needs a radiator and water pump, totaling $1100 7 hours of labor he’s going to start it in the morning I’m called at 11 am the next day ready to be picked up I still don’t have heat I take it back He says oh well now it’s a heater core and it will be another 1000 The whole reason I went there was I had no heat My son had to go back 3 times over what Mike said was a “faulty part” He eventually has to get his money back because, I mean all these faulty parts guys This man will take advantage of you at your lowest point in your life, rip you off by charging more

Terrible service. Mike (owner) installed three (3) faulty parts that went bad after a week. Doesn't follow instructions for repairs correctly and will make every step of the process as tedious as possible. Go to any other shop in Lafayette and they'll do better for cheaper.

They fixed my diesel truck after being down for like 3 months even the Chevy dealer was not able to fix my truck 👌👌👌👌but these guys here gotta it done in couple hrs I will highly recommend them.

I was caught out when my fob stopped working one day. Other places wanted hundreds for a diagnostic, but Car Tech didn't! They were extremely reasonable, told me what was wrong with my car, and it turns out - I can save hundreds more by not replacing a part on an old car that wouldn't really need replacing after all! Super happy with their service. I was recommended to them and I recommend them to you!

I took my car to them as a second opinion and they were able to avoid an expensive part replacement. They worked very quickly and got my AC up and running. Much appreciated in the summer weather!
