I had a terrible experience buying a vehicle from CarHub, largely due to the salesperson, Jessica. I purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer that already had serious existing issues, which were not disclosed to me at the time of sale. I was naïve going into the process, and it’s obvious now that this was taken advantage of. Shortly after driving off the lot, the check engine light came on. When I contacted Jessica, she told me it was related to the TPMS light—something that turned out to be completely untrue. After having the vehicle properly inspected, I learned it needs two new turbos, a new catalytic converter, and a new timing chain. The total cost of repairs is more than the value of the car itself. they have a 2.5 star rating on car fax for a reason. I went in to go check out a car that was listed for 9k. I tried to negotiate which is normal when buying a car, the dealer told me I cant move on the price at all. He then showed me another car that I completely didn't want and was pushing me to get it like he is going to win the lotto if this car got sold. I wasn't happy at all so I left and told him to call if he could get us a deal, he then called 2 minutes after saying he has good news on the car I wanted to buy, I get back there and he tells me do you want the bad news or the good news first. he gives me the bad news saying the car that I wanted he cant move on the price and its 13,000 out the lot. best experience in buying a vehicle EVER. i had called about a car i saw online and so thankful Jerome answered the phone. this man is the. best. i mean great dude. second to God himself. i asked a few direct questions on pricing and he was honest and straightforward from the start. he dug the vehicle out of a block of ice with his bare hands WHILE it was snowing just for us to test drive. conversation was great, not your typical salesman, not pushy in anyway down to earth and and sales process was quick and painless, and we drove it off the lot same day.
