CENTEX Truck and Auto

Well let me start by saying I'm a little late on leaving a review, but I certainly haven't forgotten my experience. I inquired about a 2018 Ford police interceptor utility, it was 2 hours away from me. So I asked as many questions over the phone as possible, including if there were any issues with the vehicle. Mike assured me the vehicle had no issues and in fact his transmission guy had just went over the trans and it was good to go, ensured me on its reliability. We'll I go test drive it and it seems fine, so I make the purchase. We'll about 5 minutes from home it starts stuttering between shifts and the check engine light came on. I’m not one to leave a lot of reviews but Mike and all his employees up here definitely earned one. I was in the market to get back into a diesel pickup. Mike was more than fair on his offer for my vehicle as well as what he was asking for the truck I was looking to purchase. Hands down easiest vehicle buying experience of my life and also was very pleased to see that the vehicle I went to look at was exactly what was shown in the online photos. 5 stars from me and hope to get a chance to do business here in the future!

I wish I could rate them 2.5 stars, but I'll round up to 3. I did something I've never done before and decided to have a truck from Centex's lot shipped to my driveway in Raleigh, NC. I wanted to include that context since this is obviously a super risky and ill-advised thing to do when purchasing a used vehicle. That being said, here's my experience.. Before purchasing the truck, I asked a series of questions including, but not limited to: 1. Does the truck have leaks? Answer - "no". 2. Does the ac/heat work? Answer - "yes". Finding their listing on Auto Trader, I called CENTEX to ensure that the vehicle I was interested in, wouldn’t get sold before I made the 2-hour drive to take a look. They were good to their word. When I arrived, I found their great-looking and mechanically sound truck I was interested in, pulled up front, waiting for my arrival. The photos represented it well. Initially, I was taken aback when they refused to negotiate the sales price. I've had good buying experiences from dealers, and I've had bad. By far, this is one of the best. Mike's prices say firm, on the website, and for good reason. I have been shopping for a HD diesel for months, and these guys beat everyone else by around $10k. Not only that, but he gave me more than anyone else would for my trade. I highly recommend Centex Truck and Auto, and would definitely buy here again.
