Chapel Hill Tire - North Chatham Village/Cole Park

Mike & Chris were excellent to work with, understanding and excellent communicators. Period. If you don’t read the rest that is the TLDR. They worked through an issue I had with an added service after visiting for a new set of tires. Instead of the vibe feeling off, or standing off, or blame shifting as some shops (most) would do when a mistake happens they leaned in and *directly* addressed my concern with transparency, integrity and ownership. Trust is hard to win and easy to lose and sometimes you are judged as only as good as your last gig. To experience the level of customer service and cooperation that I did at Chapel Hill tire is something rare these days and I will absolutely be back. Thanks guys.

Chapel Hill tire on 15 501 in Chapel Hill gave me a quote to replace a tire with a nail in it. The bid for the new tire came to over $498. In a phone call to my husband, the worker at the desk could see we were balking at the price. He then volunteered to take $60 off the Price of the new tire because it included Some kind of protection warranty program on one tire. I asked him to show me where the $60 was listed on the inventory, he had just handed me. It was not listed. It was just slipped into the overall price. I then explained that when I purchased a warranty, someone usually asked me if I wanted it. This warranty did not mean the would replace the tire for exactly the situation I was in – a nail on the sidewall of the tire, but rather they patch a nail. I told him last time I pulled

I scheduled an appointment for a simple tire rotation and waited in their lobby while the work was supposedly being done. During that time, my vehicle’s connected app showed multiple door openings and indicated the car was being driven. After more than an hour, I asked for an update and was told they couldn’t rotate the tires because the tread was too low. That explanation doesn’t make sense. Tire tread can be checked in minutes with a gauge, without driving the vehicle or keeping it for over an hour. The lack of transparency and the unexplained use of my vehicle raised serious concerns. Super easy to schedule and they were incredibly easy to work with! Sure, we got bad news that my car was toast but they were very honest and frankly lovely to work with. I know who we will be working with moving forward now that we live in this area.

I absolutely love this place. My dad took my car here after my axle broke on my way to work. They not only fix the axle but repaired what the dealership failed to repair correctly after several attempts. They always have been very kind to me. Thank you for keeping me and my babies safe.
