I wouldn’t want my dog to live here. Unfortunately a good friend does. The place has really gone down hill. The new corporation that bought it was remodeling the kitchen for months this summer. The food was awful. Now the kitchen is fixed and the food is still terrible. This rotten broccoli was served last week. The staff that has been there a while is nice but I see stress. The new management is terrible. I don’t want to say too many specifics as I don’t want to bring their wrath and pettiness onto my friend.
Lots of fantastic renovations happening! Looking forward to seeing what's next for Cooper River!
Nice retirement community!
OUr mother was there for over 4 years and then moved to their Sandpiper Rehab and Nursing facility. I highly recommend it. The medical care is excellent, they communicate with us daily, they are friendly, well organized and exude a family field as opposed to institutional.
Alot of remodeling should make this a better place for retirement.
