Are they short staffed? Yes! Should you expect to wait 2 hours minimum? Yes! But do they do a good job, honor warranties, and deserve your grace and respect? Yes! They are knowledgeable and have always been patient and kind with us, which is more than I can say about all the customers. If you make an appointment, let them know when you arrive that you have an appointment instead of waiting an hour to get to the head of the line. Same with pick up. Additionally, every time I've pulled up for free air and needed help, someone has been willing to come out and help and are NICE about it. Called in around 1pm and asked if they were taking walk-ins as I dont have an appointment, spoke to a male and he said "yes come on in when you can". I made it there around 3pm, and when I walked in I spoke to a female that said they weren't taking walk-ins. I asked her at what time do they closed she told me 8pm. So basically with 5 hours left of the store being opened they were not willing to accommodate me. I walked out and went to Mavis Discount Tires across the street. Not only where they willing to accommodate me they got me out of there in less than an hour. Didn't even bother speaking to a manager because this staff needs to be on the same page with helping out customers. I had a very disappointing experience at this tire shop. I went in for a simple tire repair, something that should normally take less than an hour, and I ended up waiting four hours. There was no clear explanation for the delay and no communication about how long it would actually take.

I recently purchased all four tires from Costco. Today, I visited the East Hanover location for my second tire rotation. The technician informed me that the tires were already worn out. I explained that the tires have only about 20,000 miles on them. They advised me to contact Bridgestone customer service to file a claim. When I called Bridgestone, they told me they do not handle claims directly with customers and that I should return to the Costco Tire Center. I then called Costco again, and they asked me to come back on Monday. This situation has been very poorly handled and has caused significant inconvenience for customers like me. Additionally, the wait times are extremely long even when we have an appointment.

We had four new Michelin tires installed at the Costco Tire Center in East Hanover, NJ, on December 13th 2025. After picking up our car around 6:00 PM, the low tire pressure warning light came on while we were driving home. When we arrived home, we noticed that one tire valve cap was missing, and we could clearly hear and feel air leaking from the valve. I tried calling the Costco Tire Center multiple times that evening, but no one answered, which was extremely frustrating. The next day, after many more attempts, someone finally answered the phone. I explained the situation and was told to bring the car back. When I asked how that was possible with a nearly flat tire, I was told to add air and drive it back, as they could not come to fix it.
