Costco Tire Service Center

Terrible experience and service. Wasted several hours waiting around on a service they ultimately said they couldn’t do after scheduling a second appointment because they said they could do. Disorganized and unprofessional to say the least. If you need a tire repair in Kona this definitely isn’t the place to take it.

Tire shop appointment is the worst!! I did my appointment, 9:30am. Got at store on time 9:15am. Talk to service representatives that I have a appointment. My car was the first appointment of the day to show up!! Wait a extra 1h bc they just start on working on vehicles that walk in without appointment?!!! Service at Costco is becoming more and more like Walmart!!! I guess you get what you pay for!!!

I got my hopes up when I set up appointment two weeks in advance for 12 o’clock and I was hoping to be done with installation of tires within 30 minutes or an hour. I came in 15 minutes earlier as it was recommended to check in. It took 30 minutes just to check in and then three hours later me and my toddler is still waiting and Costco parking lot . 1 hour late for kids school pick up. Food is going warm and car still doesn’t have tires on. Why allow so many appointments to be scheduled when you can’t I keep up Costco.

This was the WORST service I have ever experienced. I scheduled to get 4 new tires put on my car and they estimated it would take 1 hour so I decided to just walk around the store instead of being picked up by a friend. 4 hours later my car was finally ready just for me to drive it away and the balancing to be off, causing my car to shake. They took 4 hours to put my tires on and still messed something up!? So I took my car back a couple days later for them to fix the balancing and they have the audacity to tell me that it’s because of the type of tires that I bought from them which were BF Goodrich All terrain tires. So you’re telling me that I spent over $1000 on tires from Costco just for them to make my car shake!? They were so rude to me, saying there is nothing they could do but that

Bonkers Stupid! I purchased online a set of tires. Per the website I chose an installation time and date. I showed up and they told me the wait time was around 3hrs! I booked a weekday morning, where I was told more staff were working, and ended up waiting 3hrs! 1 hr in, I saw my tires taken off my wheels and then the staff comes up to me saying that they don't know where my tires are! 30mins later, I got my tires installed & vehicle ready. It's like the staff are just headless chickens! I would deffo save my save myself pay $300 more elsewhere and save myself 3.5hrs if I knew this was going to happen! They recco I visit them in a few weeks to retorque my wheels, but I won't waste my time and just do it myself.
