Dave’s has been outstanding to work with. We’ve taken our Nissan Rogue there for three separate issues (and I’ll just say it—don’t buy a Nissan Rogue). We were originally referred by a coworker who had a great experience with Dave when the transmission failed on our Rogue in February 2024. Unfortunately for us, our transmission went almost exactly one month after the five-year warranty expired, leaving us fully out of pocket. Dave helped us secure a replacement transmission at a significantly better price than the Nissan dealership quoted. He completed the repair without issue, clearly explained the transmission fluid change schedule, and the total cost for parts and labor was still less than what the dealership wanted just for the transmission alone. I have been in contact with these guys for a few months after hearing good things about the place. I had an issue with my jeep and it needed to get ready for inspection. I left it with them and they took the time to check it out and got a call later that day with a very reasonable bill we be back! Update Jeep passed inspection with flying colors! This review is well deserved! I had an oil leak in June 2023. I initially went to Rick's in Marcus Hook, which was the 1st place to waste my time & money. I had a severe oil leak and he was the ONLY business willing to fix it after properly diagnosing the problem FOR FREE. They were finished in less than a full business week, which as an independent contractor was appreciated. I was happy to be done with that issue, just to be informed I now had transmission fluid leaking, and he suspected it was from the transfer case. This review is overdue- I came to Dave by chance needing some serious work on my car back in May, he was really straightforward about the repairs, stuck to his word about what was needed and managed all expectations by realistically projecting additional expenses that might be incurred, was very personable while explaining things to me, and gave me a great price on all the work. He really knew what he was talking about and what to do and how to organize the work. And besides that he just is a really cool guy and easy to work with. Everyone at the shop is friendly and down to earth. It was really a pleasure to do business with him, and my car is running great!

I came across Dave's auto through a mutual friend. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the repair. My car was on its last leg and no other means of transportation. He worked around my availability. Him & his staff got my car done asap I dropped it off the night before & picked it up the next day. I much rather go to someone that will be honest with me and not break my pocket over "add ons". I just need what's broken fixed. It may take some time patience & communication. But its worth it.
