Called Dave to talk about our car that needs to be total. We are selling it to the junkyard, but we cannot sell it until we get the title which the bank still has and they should’ve sent it to us long ago. I offered to pay for the time it sat in his parking lot to make him happy and he proceeded to yell at me and tell me to get the car out of there and it is not his problem. I was trying to explain what the problem was so at least he would understand. Correct is not his problem, but he was extremely rude, very nasty and then hung up on me. He was mad at my husband, but took it out on me when but I was just trying to be cooperative and explain to him that we will get out -hopefully -by tomorrow. Originally they were great! I had my jeep in for a transmission which I knew was pricy and was okay paying it. I’ve had to take it in 3 times now. First time was 4 days for the first trans repair, 10 days for the second repair on the trans and this last time was a whole month still getting it back without the trans acting fully repaired. When they had it this last time my calls kept being dodged and I received no calls with updates on it, I had to have someone else call in my place to get an actual answer. Nice people for sure, but I just feel like with the 4000 dollars I spent I shouldn’t have had to keep taking it in and having my calls dodged. it’s most likely going to have to go in again being that it’s still not 100% so that’s extremely frustrating. With that, which made me write this

He got my truck running, Thank God. It was barely running at all when I brought it there with the engine light flashing. He figured it out pretty quick and fixed it. It was only there for a day.

I sincerely appreciate Dave's Transmission, their staff and their owners' dedication to excellent service at a very reasonable price. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and, most of all, willing to talk with you and help explain the problem and your options without that feeling that they're trying to sell you services you don't need/want. I highly recommend giving them a call and seeing what they can do for you. I definitely will be going back to Dave's.

Do not use this place for any transmission repair. They are only in business because the round lake beach police department uses them for tows. My sister and I had received papers from the police department to get her driver's license and other documents out of the car and they got violent with her.
