Sounded great at first, they agreed to do everything I needed done over the phone. Dropped my truck off waited for the day they said they would start on it to call. Told me over phone come pick up my truck I don’t want to work on it. Thanks for wasting my time and money having my truck towed there. Thought you guys would be a good fit from what I’ve heard but you showed me you don’t care to take care of a New potential reoccurring customer. Don’t recommend this shop if you need a trans built to your standards!!! I actually did tell you my truck had a cam in it. NOT A HIGH PERFORMANCE BUILD LOL. This place went above and beyond for me. My Hummer's transmission shift cable broke and no one was able to fix it for me.Went to Decatur and they fixed the issue right away with kindness and efficiency. Would definitely recommend them! Ken & his team were the best!

Great shop, I brought my car in as a complete random customer off the street, and they put on parts I brought in. No warranty of course since I brought them in, but they treated me with decency, I'm green as can be when it comes with cars. They explained a few things to me. They worked within my financial means. I've sent a family member that way since, and they had a wonderful experience there from what I've heard. I wasn't able to afford the full repair, due to the afformentioned financial issues I was having at the time, but I don't hold that against them it's a business. They're most certainly a family business if that matters to anyone, and I would go to them again in the future. Met Ken and crew, our son was broke down traveling to Birmingham. He was towed to a repair shop, that was unable to figure out the problem. Suggested Decatur Hwy Trans & Motor. Ken kept in touch, and got us on the road. Very professional and down to earth. Glad we still have Mechanics that are closed Saturday and Sunday. Well deserved work. Thank you Team.
