Del Webb Charleston at Nexton- 55+ Retirement Community

We have been in our new home for one year. The experience has been excellent. Our sales associate, Meghan Golde and our construction supervisor, Luke Brown were great to work with during the purchase and construction phase. All the minor repairs needed since move in have been timely and professionally handled. Caroline Roche handled our one year warranty work and she also provided excellent service. We are pleased with our purchase of a home in Del Webb Nexton and look forward to years of enjoying our home and this community.

We went to contract the middle of February and closed yesterday, July 29. Our sales person Megan was fabulous. Our builder was responsive, competent and a great communicator. We are very pleased so far. My only complaint is all trees around the homes were cut down so the houses are quite naked of shrubs/trees/shade. You get only one little tree in the front yard :(

We have been here 6.5 years. Our build out was terrible. Had warranty contractors in our house over 50 time over the first two years. At some point you just give in and accept the bowed walls and no 90 degree corners. Now we have a problem with AAM, the management company. I thought we would have more fun but not. Over our time here there have been at least 6 SE regional managers, 6 or 7 property managers and 6 lifestyle managers. With all these changes there is no continuity. On top of this our community manager just quit along with 4 very good receptionist. Something is wrong. HOA does not seem to care. If we didn’t make as many friends, we would be moving. It’s also surprising how many people do move out

We closed on our new home this week. Process was easy from start to finish. Dana did a wonderful job of helping us choose the best floorplan & structural options. Our construction manager, Luke, did a great job building our house - answering all our questions quickly and keeping us updated on the construction process. While there were several "finishing" issues during our prep close walk thru, Luke corrected them prior to closing. And, when we found a coup!e more issues after move-in, he either corrected them immediately or committed to correcting them based on our availability. We are looking forward to meeting our neighbors and taking advantage of all the amenities in the community.
