Discount Tire

I’ve been a Discount Tire customer for over 20 years and they have all done an outstanding job and have generally gone above and beyond to help. The San Marcos store is always busy but I make an online appointment and usually get done in a reasonable time. I’ll be back.

I want to send a shout out to Jake H at this location! From a widow mom who is trying to do her best with her young adult kids thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have been on my son to get a worn tire replaced and wires had started showing this week and of course shrugged off the past month I have been harping on it. He went to discount this morning and Jake H said not only do you need one tire you really need all 4 but your other tire is showing wire on the inside as well that we had not seen. He told my son he definitely had a front end issue he needed to get looked at prior to getting tires or he would have the same issue in a few months. My son explained he was doing good to be able to get the one tire so that he could get back and forth to his job that is 3 minutes from our home

Ordered tires online, made an appointment for 3 days later to have them installed, they called to let me know the tires came in a day early and to offer an earlier appointment if i wanted. They called the day before and the morning of my appointment, and not only had a bay and technician waiting for me they also had a sign out front with a parking spot with a sign with my name on it. I was in and out the door in 25 mins. Before i bought these new tires they rotated the old tires for me every 6 months for free even though they did not install them, this was the reason i ordered from them vs say Tirerack.com, although their prices were essentially the same, they do have a price match policy if you can find the same tires cheaper, then they will honor that price for you. Great customer service, in and out with accurate wait times! They patched the hole in my tire FOR FREE and let me go without charging anything!! Excellent people and outstanding service. You can tell they care a lot about their customers and wouldn't charge them for something trivial. Amazing, will return if I need more service done!

I want to give Discount tire overall just 3.5 stars. I was given misinformation about one of my tires I needed to be patched and instead was getting a sales pitch. But I went again and a gentleman David L was so helpful. He took care of me and made sure I left happy. He gets my 5 stars!
