Went to this location a few times, Jose and Robert were professional and moving in a timely + efficient manner. I brought parts for a tune up and they were happy to use them, I wasn’t upsold it was just an honest transaction. It’s a small shop so I waited in line but it was quick regardless! I will be returning.

These gentlemen are the best. They are honest , funny and friendly. They greet you when you arrive. The oil change took less than 20 min. And they do a thorough check to make sure there's nothing leaking before you drive off

Grease Monkey in San Marcos is solid every time. The staff is friendly, quick, and actually explains what they’re doing instead of trying to upsell you on stuff you don’t need. I’m usually in and out way faster than expected, and they do a thorough job. Prices are fair and the service feels honest, which is hard to find sometimes. Definitely my go-to spot for oil changes and basic maintenance.

I highly recommend this place! As a younger female in San Mo, i’ve been to a lot of places for a simple oil change and have been scammed or even given a bad change every time! I finally came here to Grease Monkey & was helped by Mike, Jose, and Cruz! They did an amazing job, super quickly, and even helped me with some questions i had! thank you guys!!

I have been looking around San Marcos for a decent oil change, and I found a coupon for a 29.99 oil change if the oil is under 5 quarts. That’s it, no other language in the coupon. I arrived and the techs were very friendly and nice and super quick. I told them I had a coupon multiple times. And multiple times they acknowledged that. As I get my oil changed, 4.5quarts of 5W-30. As I’m ready to roll off, they hit me with an 80$+ price tag! I told them about the coupon and the tech shook his head citing “Oh well, your coupon isn’t valid for the type of oil, and we filled your tires and checked other fluids.” He then said he “already applied a generous discount” it was 10$ off…. So, my oil was already changed by the time price was discussed so I had to fork over almost 3 times what I expecte
