Discount Tire

I had a fantastic experience getting my tires replaced here! From the moment I walked in, Paige and Jonah in customer service made the entire process seamless. They were professional, welcoming, and kept me informed every step of the way. The service team in the back did an incredible job with the actual replacement—they were fast, efficient, and clearly know their stuff. It’s rare to find a shop where both the front desk and the technicians are this top-notch. I’ll definitely be back for my future service needs. Highly recommend!

I went to Discount Tire to have a set of tires put on. I left my truck there and ran some other errands, once my truck was done, I had gotten a call letting me know it was finished. I wasn’t able to answer the call, so they left a voicemail, in the voicemail they noticed some minor uneven wear (I already knew about it) and that they could do a free alignment check if I had time. I had called them back and gave them consent to just check the alignment. (Didn’t want to get an alignment done because I need to buy camber shims to help with the alignment.) The employees took it upon themselves to perform an alignment without my consent anyway. Great customer service at the Shakopee discount tire! The sales guys did a good job of managing my expectations during a very busy snowy December day. They were able to squeeze me in and get it done. Same day! There was an honest mistake that was made. I came back the next day and the manager more than made it right. This is not a fluff review in anyway. I rarely give reviews. This particular location clearly hires well, trains, well, and rewards well. I’ve been coming here for years and they’ve always done a great job! Additionally, I’m trying out a different brand than Michelin‘s. It is discount tire’s, new Mojave SUV tire. About 1/3 the cost of Michelin‘s. They look great and have some pretty meaty tread. I cannot say enough good things about the team at Discount Tire, especially Paige. I was dealing with a very frustrating situation involving premature tire wear from a manufacturer, and while the issue itself was not Discount Tire’s fault, they truly stepped up. Paige went above and beyond to help me find a safe, affordable solution, especially with winter weather and blizzards rolling in. She took the time to explain everything clearly, worked through the warranty details, and did everything she could to make the replacement manageable for me. It was obvious she genuinely cared about my safety and not just making a sale. Last week I took my car into the Shakopee Discount tire to have my tires balanced and rotated there. While they were balancing, they noticed some bad wear spots on  one of them that wasn't obvious when they were on the car. I wasn't prepared for that and Nathan was so helpful and made it work out with a great solution.. Done and out the door in 30 minutes... I always leave there with a smile thanks to the entire crew.. Kudos all around to the counter guys as well as the techs in back.
