Enterprise Rent-A-Car

1.Selected car wasn’t available. 2. Car I agreed to was not ready at the time of my rental agreement time. 3. Charge a $400 deposit when I rented less than 6 months at the same location and that did not happen. 4. My rental was charge under another persons reservation resulting in my Amex being charged 2 times. 5. The manager at the Elkins Park branch promised me on 3 different occasions the charges would be reversed for the charges billed on someone else’s reservation. 7 days later, I had to call corporate who cannot find the pending $602 charges that are still on my Amex. 6. Corporate could not find the charge and had to escalate to finance. I called Amex who advised me they cannot dispute until it finalizes or enterprise reverses the charges. I got a nice enough car and it did the job. The price was reasonable as I got it through my insurance. Everyone was helpful and the car was reasonably clean. The windows were really dirty on the inside and it did smell like weed inside the vehicle when I got it. I had been given a warning that it smelled like cigarettes which was fine but it really just smelled like pot. I didn't love that but I was fine with it enough to not ask for another vehicle. I did get charged for a day that it snowed and I could not get the car out of my neighborhood and I tried. I think that's a little bit unfair, but I'm not sure that fairness matters in general. My recent experience: When I initially received the vehicle, it wasn't as clean as it should've been. You could clearly see animal hairs on the seat (I'm allergic), white mystery substance on the chairs with a cigarette hole, it smelled like smoke (which made my daughters nauseous each time they were in the car), the armrest & cup holders appeared to have a sticky substance on it, and the steering wheel contained what I hoped were crumbs in the crevices. Overall, the car was nasty. I brought this to Sheree's attention and she surely addressed it the best she could by taking it back for a reclean. I have to send a thank you to her for that. I wish it was already done to a better standard prior to arriving, especially considering I had just flew in from FL, but still kudos for her offering

The representative was very helpful, kind, polite and professional. She truly understood the importance of listening to the customer and their needs. In today’s world good customer service is severely lacking. It’s refreshing to see that this quality is not extinct.

Mostly good experience. People there were great. Easy to rent. Satisfying. I'd rent from them again. Really convenient was i didn't have to return rental to shop - they picked it up at place my own car was.
