Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Shout out to Shelbi. She did an amazing job today. She literally made my day after a really bad experience with Avis. I just moved here from Texas and never seen a friendly person like her in the city so far. She is a professional, friendly and get the things done quickly

We went with Enterprise of Kirkland and I was disappointed. The upgrade I received was an 8 passenger Durango, a gas guzzler. I was alone on my trip, no other options were available. The car was too big and not full of gas. I was treated as though I had never rented a car before and it was disappointing.

Fantastic experience with this place! Shelbi was very patient with me & my insurance issues when picking up my rental, and I had no issues with that car whatsoever while driving it. They have a good range of cars to select from, often new models, and excellent customer service. I hope I never have to go back to get another rental, but if I did, this would be the place!

I’ve now had three terrible experiences with Enterprise Kirkland, and this most recent one was the final straw. I picked up a car and immediately noticed the brakes were not in good condition, and the seat belt alarm kept beeping even though the belt was properly fastened. That’s a basic safety issue, and I wasn’t willing to risk it. I returned the car right away and asked to cancel the reservation since I didn’t even use the vehicle. Despite that, I was still charged for the rental, which is completely unacceptable. This is the third time I’ve dealt with unsafe cars from this branch, even after previous assurances from management(Shelbi R Clark). After years of renting cars from Enterprise at various locations in the US as well as internationally, I have not see a branch manager worse than this one at this Kirkland location. Coincidently I found other customers having this same kind of experience. The most recent incident was that I rented a car for 1 day (picked up 5:42pm and returned 5:34pm the next day, well within 24 hours). At the return, the branch manager Shelby asked if I'll let her take the key and process the return later because they are busy at the moment. I gracefully said yes. Not knowing that they charged me extra hour plus another day's facility charge, license fees, taxes, etc. when I received the invoice later.
