Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I never write reviews. But I had a great experience at this Enterprise location today that I wanted to mention. We had a minor issue with the car we returned, and the very friendly manager handled it with such graciousness and professionalism, I was actually taken by surprise. Given the state of the world today, it really feels rare to be treated that way--it shouldn't, but it does. I've rented here a couple times when our cars were at the shop, and today's experience made me a permanent customer--I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Kudos for exceptional customer service. And otherwise, the whole process was great--rates were reasonable, online booking was easy and seamless, including when we had to make multiple changes to return date.

I have been a customer to this location a few times and I have to write this review because it was one of the best customer service I had ever received. Being in the hospital industry for the past 20 years, customer service is something that is very valuable to me. The assistant manager Ayman And his colleague Jeff showcased exceptional Service. Their friendly attitude and caring mentality puts a smile on my face every time I drive through the location. The cars are very nice And the property is well maintained, clean and the atmosphere in general is very welcoming.. I have a new found respect for enterprise car rental rentals due to the kind of staff they hire. Always professional and very courteous. My experience here was super! I reserved their cheapest rental for a long weekend (Thurs-Mon) while my car was in the shop for repairs when all my plans got changed last minute. I was able to turn in the rental 3 days earlier and no one gave me a hard time about it. Everything was smooth. I arranged for a pick up, driver was on time and friendly, staff was knowledgeable and patient regarding my toll / EZ Pass questions, no pressure to up sell just courteous respectful and professional service from start to finish. In and out in less that 15 min.

Rented from the Torrington location on October 9th. Customer service was great — Ed was very helpful and upfront throughout the process. However, both vehicles I received were in poor condition. The first (a Hyundai) was dirty inside and had a glitchy screen. The second (a Toyota Rogue) had dog hair all over the back seat and multiple dents, though Ed explained they were aware and planning to file a claim. My pickup was scheduled for 2 PM, but I didn’t pull off until after 3 PM due to switching vehicles and waiting for cleaning. Ed mentioned his coworkers were out picking up an Equinox, but I didn’t have time to wait for them to return with it. Exceptional Service That Went Above and Beyond! What began as a potentially disastrous situation turned into an experience so positive that I ended up keeping the car for four extra days. The vehicle I had originally reserved from the Torrington office was no longer available, which left me quite anxious as I urgently needed transportation. I made several calls, and Branch Manager Ed, together with staff member Britney, went above and beyond—scrambling to locate a suitable replacement from other branches. Thanks to Ed’s persistence and customer-first attitude, he was able to transfer an Audi from the Waterbury branch for me—an unexpected upgrade that exceeded my expectations.
