Picking a shop to work on your car is intimidating for numerous reasons. I've taken my various ars to a few shops around the area over the years, and have settled on Ernie's as my go-to because they are honest, do a good job, and are reasonably priced. It's sadly hard to find a place where you can confidently say that but Ernie's makes me feel comfortable bringing my car to them. They did a major repair on my truck last year. Their price was very fair. They did have an issue where the part they needed to order didn't come in, and I had to call again to ask about it. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review of Ernie’s Garage yet. There are decent mechanics and good shops to be found in this area, to be sure, but my bad luck over the years brought me downtown to this shop, which had always intimidated me because of how crowded it’s parking lot is. And it’s crowded for a good reason. Many motorist in the city, myself included, rely on this shop and have relied on the shop for years. I’ve been taking my car and the other two cars in my family for well over a decade and a half and I have nothing but praise for them. I was treated very professional and my car was done in a few hours, and I can tell the people care about the customers. I will never go back to corporate car places for repairs again. I like these down to earth people at Ernie's better. Thanks again to Brian for doing a great job on my car!!!!

So glad I went to Ernie's after the dealership told me I needed a laundry list worth of work - turned out I didn't need it all. And they charged me a fraction of the price that the dealership wanted. Clear communication and work was done very quickly! Will definitely go back for future service!

This is my favorite old school garage in the valley highly recommend anyone needing service come here.
