Fox Rent A Car Ft Myers

I wouldn't advise using this company. They said they open at 5 AM. But neglected to mention that the agent doesn't arrive till 7 AM. They are like the Spirit Airlines of the car rental agencies. I booked this through Booking.com which is usually pretty good.

Please, please, please just listen to the hundreds of one star reviews on this rental car facility. My experience is very similar to several other terrible reviews and I’ve included a screenshot of my receipt so you can see the actual charges. I promise, you will not be one of the special ones where this somehow works out. I booked a travel package on Expedia and this was the rental car company included with my package. Very easy pick up & drop off from the airport with their free shuttle service - Was also impressed with the fact that we rented a Toyota corolla & it ended up having the sef drive options, a first for us 😀 Only got pictures inside the car as it was "self driving " - Technology is amazing!!

Pleasantly surprised... made the reservation through Expedia before reading reviews. I was very nervous but it worked out fine. Didn't take long for shuttle either way... a little confusing to find the pick up spot at the airport though. Car was good and clean. I had a terrible experience with Fox Rental Car and will never use them again. Despite pre-paying the full rental fee through Expedia, the rental agent, Angel, charged an additional $412 to my credit card without explanation or consent on 2/2/25. This included $76.51 for pre-paid fuel, $148.50 for PlatePass, and an extra $186.99 for the rental itself.
