Freightliner of Hartford - Truck Sales

I hope this can get to a supervisor. My dad took his freightliner truck to this dealer, technicians were not able to find the problem, BUT HE WAS CHARGED a good amount of money, but the WORST part was the way my dad was treated, the person behind the counter was really rude and not professional at all, he even mentioned to one of his co-workers “he should get out of here (in a mean way)” referring to my dad who was just checking if they have found the problem, the employee may though my dad would not be able to understand English, this is being racist. I really hope my dad can be reimbursed for not being able to solve the problem and deal with disrespectful employees. I hope management can do something about it. I hope nobody is treated the way my dad was.

Over a period of time, this Freightliner Dealership Service performed important repairs on my truck. Including changing complete engine, later on changing head gasket on the engine. And doing gasket change on drive axle. Pricewise it is same as any other Freightliner dealership. Parts department is pricey as any other place, however if you could open an account you could possibly get some discounts. This is the only Freightliner certified dealership in the area, so honestly you don’t have many other options. overall the job is satisfied the needs of the truckers.

Terrible service. Almar trucking's truck was attempted to be diagnosed there. They charged us $1,500 for diagnostic 3 days in there, and could not even figure out the problem. Then was treated extremely rude when he complaint about the charge and trying to take the truck before they start to charge even more. So we had to pay to get the truck back. We then took it to Daves trucking in springfield. And took their tech 1.5 hrs to figure out the problem. What kind of incompetent, ripoff staff and technicians you have working there at Freightlinerof Hartford!!!. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ANY POSSIBLE COST!!!

Parts department is a nightmare. Spent 1.5 to get my parts. Only few guys who really know what is going,rest of it is clueless. Waited to get parts from another bulding. If you dont have whole day to waste better go somewhere wlse

Excellent! Fast service! Donna was able to get us right in and out ... We needed to get our idle timer turned off due to the cold weather. From the time we got there to the time we left, 45 minutes. Will definitely be back here again!
