He said, that it would be no problem and to bring it in the following week. I was to drop it off and they would get to it the next day. Great! The day to drop it off, it would not start. I stopped by Gear Heads and spoke to the owner about the problems. He said if I had it towed in that be ok and they would still get to it the following next day. Days past, they hadn’t started. I made an appointment for 9:30 AM. I called from the road to say I was running late due to a fire and arrived at 9:45 AM. I was told I'd have to leave the car at least 2 to 3 hours for them to look Defined the source of an electrical drain on the battery. They called it a parasitic draw. I left my phone number and they said they'd be in touch when they could tell me something. This car repair place is 45 minute drive from my home so I decided to just walk around town and wait After two hours, I called and asked the status of my car. The person left for a couple of minutes came back and said they were in the middle of it and they didn't have anything to report yet I arrive back at the Car Repair Pl. 3 1/2 hours after I left the car and it looked like the car was still In the same parking

Poor. Tire repair. Tire patch and tire plug are different. My receipt shows tire patch but the mechanic put a plug in the tire

This garage and the community who works there are the definition of “not all hero’s wear capes.” I was visiting Waimea from Puna side and my car broke down unexpectedly down the road. They came to my location in attempt to get it started so I didn’t have to tow it, unfortunately with no luck. I got it towed to the shop and they immediately started diagnostics and fixing my car, only replacing parts that needed replacing to get my car home, and they did it quick. Everyone was so nice and supportive, the owner Jason and his partner took the time to talk story and watch my dog while I picked up a lamb burger from across the street, which are incredible btw. Thanks for getting me home guys.

We were on a family vacation when our rental car started to make a high-pitched noise while driving through Waimea. We stopped here, and they fixed it within minutes... at no charge! They were very friendly and professional. We were able to continue our trip around the island. Thank you!!
