Hertz Car Rental - Hawaii Waimea Kohala - Fairmont Orchid

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont minus one little thing. Getting ripped off by the Hertz employees who at first seemed like they were apologetic but really didn’t care in the slightest that I was double charged for my rental car (BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE). The manager and her employees all agreed that It was a mistake, never helped me get any clarity on a refund. I called in countless time to get an update to no avail and constant gaslighting that I would “receive an email”. I am fully expecting a a full refund since this was my honeymoon and I was taken advantage of for trying to be patient but the customer service is seriously lacking. Would never recommend anyone rents from you all again and I hope people choose not to.

Horrible service, more like a scam. I provided a debit business card to rent a car for two days for business purposes 240$ in total. They took the card, then returned to me and said that they can’t use it. Only credit card. I didn’t have credit card at all, so they refused to rent out car to me. An hour later I checked my bank account and 500 $ were deducted from my business bank account. So, no car , no money ! Stay away from this scammers !

So convenient and fast also very reliable cars for we're ever your going, sometimes the rates are good sometimes there great! Oscar the rental agent is often a delight and very good at his job! 👍🤗

We are staying at the Orchid Hotel and have been trying to get in touch with someone about our current rental. There was a very nice gentleman working who advised us we had to speak with the Kona Airport location. We have tried to go down and speak to someone again at the hotel but no one is around. It says they are open from 8am-4pm but rarely anyone is around.
