Best experience at an auto shop. I explained my issue with battery not staying charged. He gave me a worst-case estimate, made sure the alternator was in stock, and fixed up my car immediately on arrival. On a Sunday!! He was there when I needed him to be and he went well over my expectations with a smile and awesome waiting room.

Gary and his crew at Gentleman’s Foundation are amazing. I had just replaced my alternator 3 months prior (at a different mechanic) and my battery light came on and my car was dead again. My boyfriend and I were trying to find a mechanic local so we wouldn’t have to pay a lot for towing. We found Gentleman’s Foundation on google and read the amazing reviews and decided to go with it. Gary answered the phone and recommended a towing service with a great price. At the time, we had no idea what was wrong so he ran a complete electrical diagnostic and found out that previously (by a DIFFERENT mechanic), the wrong alternator was installed! The gentlemen at this shop are stupendous!!! They serviced my car with A+ quality at a very reasonable price. I definitely will be returning for regular maintenance and servicing. My son’s car broke down on the way home from vacation. He stopped by the Advance Auto in Gaston and they referred Gentlemen’s Foundation. I called them first thing the next morning and Gary suggested a towing company and had the car fixed by noon. He also indicated another repair may be needed in the near future but didn’t pressure us into making the repair at that time. After consulting our hometown mechanic we were told that the estimated price Gary gave us was very competitive and we went ahead and had Gary replace the power steering pump as well. We picked it up on the way home from vacation this morning. Our experience with this shop has been very favorable. They were very honest and professional. Great experience and quality work. They did great on my car and the waiting room felt so comfy I almost forgot I was in a waiting room. Gary is a really nice guy and I would recommend his shop to anyone looking for a great mechanic.
