Paws and Performance Garage

My truck lost oil pressure while being used by my son while his truck was in a repair garage near my house (Murphy's Law?). I was concerned to limp it back home for repair and towing would have cost a considerable amount of money. So, decided to look for a mechanic in the Gaston, SC area. I am so glad I took this route! The company's name "Paws and Performance Garage" piqued my curiosity and began reading their reviews. Aside from a 1 star rating (...gotta be a back story there...) it was a very solid 5 star consensus. I'm happy to say I'm in the 5 star camp as well! Took my vehicle there last November to replace the motor. Gave him 2000k to get the motor. He gave me the run a rounds for months. I just went and picked my car up a year later. He never replaced the motor and now he doesn’t have the money to repay me. It’s been a year and he still doesn’t know when he will have it. Taking him to court. I strongly recommend to stay away from this shop. He is a scam.

His prices compared to other local shops are actually pretty great. His work has been quality as well. No complaints. He found me a nice supercharger and it was much cheaper than any shop around and in great condition. Also has replaced other parts for me as well and hadn’t had any issues. I’m actually looking to get a new transmission from him and installed sometime to. Definitely recommend.

We had a real problem with our car as we we're traveling. I called them as they were close to the interstate. They took care of us super quick and we were impressed with their friendliness!

This guy knows his stuff, and gives a good price for his services. I'll be taking my vehicles to him if I need anything else, in the future!
