I really could not ask for more. From front staff to back staff. This team was welcoming as ever, efficient as possible, and the repair COULD NOT LOOK CLEANER (metal, plastic, and paint, the panels align even better than factory). They have some real artists in the back. Unreal job from everyone. The staff saw me even after I was late to my appointment. Estimator was super sweet and answered all my questions. Front desk explained all I needed to know. Manager kept everything timely as could be. They turned the car around in TWO days, AND stayed late Friday afternoon so I could have it for the weekend. Manager even came out to help me with a blinker light after-hours, and fixed it immediately. I could not thank the entire staff enough for the wonderful job they did. Wishing the best for
I really didn’t want to leave this review but feel I have no choice now. Extremely disappointed with Gerber of Fort Walton Beach. They break things on your car because some of the employees are just too lazy to take their time and properly remove parts from your car; instead they just rip them off with force, which they then have to replace driving the repair bill higher. They’re actually lazy enough to leave pieces of your old part behind and simply install new ones over the old ones they broke. At the end of the job there’s screws, retainer clips etc. missing leaving parts not properly secured and water able to get into your frame. They’re very careless with the parts they remove leaving them with chipped corners with paint missing. They don’t bother to cover up or just simply pull off
Gerber recently did an estimate for my car. I was in an accident which was not my fault so the other drivers insurance gave me a list of body shops to choose from, Gerber was on it so I chose them. They gave me an estimate of 4080.00$ and said it would take 3 weeks. That’s a long time and I thought I could get it done faster somewhere else, so I called the insurance and requested a direct payment. AFTER doing this my estimate changed from 4080$ to 2040.00$ but no one from Gerber ever called me to inform me of this huge change to my estimate over the past 12 days. Then when I told the insurance company I have a copy of the original estimate Gerber gave me for 4080$ and offered to provide a copy but they said they would get it from Gerber but Gerber claims they don’t have the original estima
After using Gerber last year, after someone plowed into me, I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else, if I needed a paint and body shop again. They were very professional, and polite, in every way. They kept me updated on their progress by telephone and text. There was no glitches with insurance and they handled it all. They even had it towed from the tow yard. I didn't have to do a thing, except pick it up when it was finished, and it was finished a few days before it was promised! It took 3 weeks for my car to go from this to this and it was flawless and still is a year later. I recommend them to everyone any time I get a chance. Best in town!
Folks, this is not me to take the time to write a review, but beware of the workmanship that takes place in this shop and geico reps. that try to talk you into using them. My brand new truck (3 months old when I got hit) has been in this shop for the third time now getting original repairs fixed again or correctly under warranty. The first time I received my vehicle I got home to find a ding in the back of the cab painted over, stuff was banging and rattling under the bed and I found fuel fill lines not reattached, a bed bolt cross threaded and left loose, scratches down to the metal on both cab corners they did reinstalling the bed, and my taillight wires hanging almost out from under the bottom of the bed by the bulb sockets.(not refastened). I took it back showed them all the things I
