Working with Gerber was a huge mistake. They completely took advantage of the situation. The general manager, Chris, is not someone you can trust. He made the repair costs way higher than they should’ve been—$17,000 for one accident. It honestly felt like the only thing they care about is making money. Chris was disrespectful and avoided taking any real responsibility. I didn’t feel like my car—or I—were in good hands at any point. If you trust him or his team, you might end up regretting it. Customer satisfaction clearly isn’t a priority here. I’d strongly recommend going somewhere else. Feel free to reach out if you want details.

The damage assessor for the insurance company did not take into account all the elements and did not take high-quality photos of all the damage, which is why I did not receive proper compensation after an accident that was not my fault. refused to review the case and guaranteed the safety of repairing a severely damaged bumper, which cannot comply with the reality and safety standards established by the brand of my car BMW and not only this brand

It's not that often that I write a review. It's time consuming and it is rare to find a business that truly cares enough about the customer rather than the bottom line. The exact opposite is what I experienced when I went to Gerber Collision & Glass in Palatine. I have a 2022 Volvo and must have gone over a curb or hit a pot hole and, as a result, the rocker panel at the bottom of the car was pushed forward about 3/4". There was no concern regarding driving the car, it just looked bad. I brought the car to a Volvo dealership and was quoted over $1000 to fix it. The rocker panel purportedly needed to be replaced ($425 for the part), clips & fasteners and paint was almost $200 and labor another $450. Two months later I was passing a popular auto repair and collision center near the town

I can’t say enough great things about Gerber collision and glass. From Dominique the receptionist to the Manager Chris they treated me with such kindness and compassion. I had my car repaired there last Sept. My experience was a call with updates and promises that were kept. Today I called cause my headlight was out and I asked if perhaps they could help me. Chris came out and said I’ll replace it ..then proceeded to replace the other. Thank you for helping me and treating me so kindly. I highly recommend Gerber. Jerry you were absolutely great you were so smart to know how to Repair my driver side rear view mirror on my Beautiful 2011 DTS Cadillac it was my husband‘s car and he told me before he passed away five years ago that I should keep this car and not sell it and you have been so smart and able to help me get this rearview mirror repaired and making it possible For me to continue to enjoy driving his car thank you thank you thank you.
