Gerber Collision & Glass

Had my truck clay bared there got it back yesterday and it looked absolutely horrible they didn’t do the job they were paid to do my chrome still had over spray on it my headlights also and the driver side of the bed. Most importantly they burned threw the clear coat to the paint in 3 different spots on my truck, they charged for things to be replaced but didn’t replace them i called my insurance company and they dealt with them on this and now they have to complete the job they were originally supposed to do after they are done completing my truck I will give another review on how they fixed the what they didn’t not do to begin with

Text or phone updates were never received, and they took 1 month to return the car. This was a simple door alignment problem. The car was not properly fixed even after all that time, and the owner was never available for comment. We will never leave our cars in their care again. In the past we were treated well and our cars came back just fine. Definitely not the same place anymore!

This place is a RIP OFF!!! My family and I traveled to Peoria for Thanksgiving and I hit a deer the night before. A family member recommended Gerber to us because they had used them before. This experience has been a total nightmare! They kept our vehicle for almost a month and a half then told us that it was ready for pickup. When my wife and I got there, the front passenger door was binding due to the fender not properly aligned. They took it around back and quickly fixed and applied touchup paint to it and brought it back around. My wife got in and the Check Engine Light was on. Went back in again and told the guy that it was on. Once again, pulled around back to check out. Then Eric, the location manager, comes out and tells us that it was a Cam Sensor code and that it was on when they

The job looked ok. The problem is . They violated the rights of the customer. Took advantage of a elderly person. He got the estimate from his professional auto body mechanic. Gerber came back and cut it by 300 dollars. He went to his Auto body man and he agreed to do it for the less value. Gerber told him they already had the check and he had to bring the car over to them. That's a 100 mile round trip. I talked to my insurance agent. He said all he would of had to do was take the vehicle to where he wanted. My lawyer said it seems his rights was violated.
