Allstate recommended that we send my son's car to this shop after he was rear-ended. From the pics and video that my son shared, the damage didn't appear too severe. However, the inspector warned that the car was unsafe to drive due to the risk of carbon monoxide leaking inside. We scheduled a repair start and end date, but the deadline kept getting delayed. The shop held the car for an entire month, and when we finally got it back, the results were unacceptable. He listened to my concerns, kept me updated along the way, and truly made an unfortunate situation as pleasant as possible. Booked through Gerber’s site expecting their shop 5 minutes away to replace my windshield. Instead, they sent it to Glass America (owned by same parent company? )— something not disclosed on their site. Gerber has great reviews; Glass America, not so much. I was told the tech would arrive anytime between 8 and 5. When I laughed, support said there’s a note they’re ‘on the way.’ I waited 2 hours, and no one came. I called them and cancelled. Disappointing and not transparent — if you book online, confirm who’s actually doing your install. Really wanted to use Gerber.

They not only kept me informed throughout the process but also advocated on my behalf with the insurance company to get additional damages covered—things that weren’t originally approved. That level of support made a huge difference during an already stressful time. When I picked up my car, I expected it to be clean, but I was blown away—it had been fully detailed and looked better than it did before the accident.
