Gibbs Equipment and Towing

I drive truck and mine broke down in Glasgow Montana. Gibbs Equipment went out of their way to get me back on the road quickly. The technician even came in early to help us keep our commitments.

I can not thank Mike, Kerry, Austin & Kyle enough for their help and assistance at a time and location where no one else was available for me. Their kindness and communication went above and beyond any possible expectations I had when I called them. Just a great group of people that I honestly can't say enough good things about them. This review doesn't do my level of respect and gratitude owed to them enough justice !!!

If you want to be flat out robbed by a group of crooks, call these clowns. $948 to have them come put a brake can on the semi. It’s 2 bolts and 2 hoses. Mind you, I was in Glendale at the Flying J. I followed the mechanic back to their shop to pay and the drive took 2 minutes. The brake can was $385 and they charged me for 2 hours at $250 an hour. What self respecting mechanic charges someone 2 hours to put a brake can on? The drive took less time than the entire job.

They dove an hour out into a practical blizzard and -25 degree wind-chills to help me. Had a blown airbag on my semi trailer suspension. He capped the line so the air system would hold pressure and I limped it to their shop in Glendive. He and another mechanic wrestled with the thing together and despite it fighting them they had it replaced and me back on the road in just 2 hours. This was all on a Sunday too, when their shop is normally closed and only the on-call guys are available.

If you’re going through Glendive, Mt area and have a breakdown, the crew at Gibbs will get you up and going in a timely manner and clean out your bank account all in one motion. $1512.90 to change a 7’ 5/8 coolant line to the transmission cooler, charged 3.5 hrs (1/2 hour charged for the owner, Mike, to come and check out the repair for 1/2 hour which he was here for 5-10 minutes at $125. I had the hose almost off when the mechanic showed up, used my tools to do the repair. Beyond over priced.
