Hayden Grove Senior Living - Bloomington

My initial reason for needing a place like Hayden Grove was to heal my broken back and start walking again with a healthy food regimen and good physical therapy. The food is low in sodium, tasty, and a nice variety. Since I'm elderly am also looking for a place to live the rest of my life. So far I've enjoyed this senior place - friendly residents, good relations among staff who have been very helpful, and a fun variety of activities, leisurely things to do or put my feet up and watch a movie. I have space in the heated garage for my car and can visit friends back in my old South Minneapolis neighborhood. Like many, I had to sell my house and that was difficult. I took care my house for many years; now it's taking care of me.

My daughters explored senior living options for me in January 2025 due to my declining health. "If something happened to our spouses we would choose to live in Hayden Grove Senior Living." The staff at Hayden Grove have created a culture and environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for all of our residents. md

As my father-in law progressed from independent living to assisted living we had to move him due to poor care. Poor response times, poor staffing ratio. Executive Director non-responsive. Administrative issues, billing errors, poor accounting, lack of detail and transparency. Do not trust this place!

Mom lived at Hayden Grove a little over two years before passing. Her experience was top notch including her three meals a day in the dining room. Everyone one always said hi when they saw her. Just an overall pleasant experience for mom.

Kindness and friendliness were the first two qualities I thought of when we walked in for our 1st tour of Hayden Grove in Bloomington, MN. Admin, Staff and other Residents were so welcoming. The building is very open and light and beautifully decorated. Fireplace is now burning in the lobby which invites you into a very lovely and comfortable social area. There is a Honor Hall with Military pictures of residents who have served our country. My father is very proud of his picture that hangs with others. Thank you Hayden Grove for doing that for our Veterans!! We are very happy they selected Hayden Grove!!
