Service Department Review: They jump to conclusions without running basic tests/diagnostics first. Our Ford Fusion was having intermittent electrical problems like dying when idling, needing to be jumped, accessory electrical staying active after turning the engine off, etc. We had to have it towed to them and they didn't have room in the schedule to look at it until a week later. They were a day late after the appointment time when they called to tell me they weren't going to jump start it or test the alternator or battery, that we need new power steering and they didn't want to look at it. They refused to do even an initial test/diagnostic of the electrical system and had no basis with which to conclude the entire power steering system needed to be replaced.
